LATIN SUNDAY WORKSHOPS
Special mini-workshops on a few Sundays in the fall. During these classes, you will dive into the world of either techniques or different Latin styles for one hour. Excellent supplement and, above all, classes that strengthen your dance skills .

Solo Salsa Workshop
Description: Come experience Salsa solo! We will teach/repeat the basic step and build one choreography during the class. SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE!
What you will learn:
- 2–3 shine patterns (beginner-friendly progression)
- Layering: legs → hips → arms (clear pattern)
- Body roll as part of a leg sequence (not as a separate trick)
- Short choreography: finishing and confidence in performance

Upper Body Styling Workshop

Description: Hands, lines and framing. Let's make the steps look spectacular by adding shoulder accents and elegant arm arches – without “overdoing it”.
What you will learn:
- Arms & lines: curves, framing, gaze direction
- Timing: when does the hand lead, when does it follow (musical logic)
- Shoulder accents + small wrist/elbow line finishing
- Applied to salsa/bachata phrase (short combo)
Level & for whom: Open level. Perfect if you are “hands hanging down”
Music & vibe: Latin pop / bachata – clear phrases
Teacher: Roynet – high-quality but relaxed finishing

Roynet was born in the heart of Cuban salsa culture – Havana. There, the rhythms of clave ring out in the streets and dance is a way of life. In her career, which began in 2003, Roynet has captivated competition arenas and dance fans around the world – including European Championship in Cuban Salsa. He has lived in Finland since 2008, bringing with him authentic Cuban energy, charisma and skill. He is still called by his nickname in his native country. Casino Monarch – the king of casino salsa. 👑
Lesson descriptions
DANCE LESSON LEVELS
You can participate in classes of any level except Twerk, where it would be good to progress gradually, starting from the basics due to the technical nature of the sport. The levels of the dance classes help teachers plan a suitably challenging class and the customer can assess the challenge of the class based on the level. If you want to challenge yourself, you can also try more challenging classes. We always try to offer the opportunity to change the level if the chosen level is too easy or difficult.
OPEN LEVEL:
Everyone is welcome to the class – you can participate even without previous experience or with a little background if you are not afraid of a little challenge. The content of the classes is often adapted to the participants.
BEGINNERS / ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS:
The course is aimed at complete beginners. During the class you will learn the basics in a relaxed manner – no previous dance experience is required.
ELEMENTARY CONTENT:
This level is suitable if you have already learned the sport at a beginner level. The class deepens previously learned skills and teaches more technique. If you have any dance background, you can participate in the beginner advanced classes regardless of the sport (the exception is Twerk, where you should take either a beginner course or, for example, an online basic course).
ADVANCED / INTERMEDIATE:
The class is suitable for those who already have experience in the sport (or similar) (e.g. 1–2 seasons). The class often includes more challenging movements and choreographies.
INT./ADV. (intermediate-advanced)
We can also talk about a challenging open level class. The level of the class is intermediate-advanced. However, it is often not as challenging as the clear advanced level classes.
ADVANCED:
This level is intended for those who have been practicing the sport for a while. The tempo is faster and the choreography is more demanding – requiring good basic technique.
