Martta is an international dancer and dance teacher from Tampere. She is a seasoned professional in twerking, having practiced, performed, and competed in the genre since 2016. After winning the Finnish twerking championship in 2019, Martta soon began teaching, and it quickly became her passion. Martta started her international teaching career in 2024 and has since taught twerking not only in Finland but also in Poland, Germany, Belgium, and Spain.

Martta competes internationally in the genre and has achieved success especially in Spanish twerk battles over the past year. Martta is a recent Commercial Dance BA (Hons) graduate, which means her dance knowledge extends beyond twerk to ballet, hip-hop, tap, and heels. Her love for music moves Martta in both commercial dance and twerk, which is why her characteristic dance styles include her own concepts, Rock N’ Twerk and Metal Commercial. In both of these, familiar techniques and freedom of movement are uniquely combined with heavier music.

Above all, it is most important to Martta that dance is practiced responsibly and with fun, together. In her classes, you can let loose, sweat, and train in a safe and encouraging atmosphere. Everyone is welcome to Martta's classes, exactly as they are, to enjoy the joy of dance! 🖤
