Rock N' Twerk is a concept launched by Marta herself in autumn 2021 combining everyone's favorite twerk and rock music. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, this class will go through every move in depth, helping you build confidence and body control while embracing the raw and honest energy of rock music! The class will include a warm-up and a quick technique review, but the main focus is on learning the choreography. Come train and let the catchy melodies of metalcore take your dancing skills to new heights! This class is full of attitude🔥

COACH PRESENTATION

MARTHA RAUTIO

Martta is a twerk dancer and dance teacher from Tampere. The happy and cheerful Martta has been teaching twerking since 2019 both in Finland and abroad. In the fall of 2023, Martta taught her first class outside of Finland at the Slay the Event event in Poland, and in the spring of 2024, Martta was a teacher and judge at the World Twerking Competition, which is the largest international twerking event in the world.

After winning the Finnish Twerking Championship in 2019, Martta has competed twice in the Twerking World Championships, representing Finland in 2020 and Great Britain in 2023. In addition to the prestigious competitions, Martta has competed in twerk battles in England and Spain. She is diligent in educating herself as a dancer and is currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Dance at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona in Spain. Martta's most prominent twerking style is her own concept, Rock N' Twerk, which combines rock music and twerking.

Marta's goal is to break boundaries as a dancer and performer and change people's expectations and prejudices about what dance can be. As a teacher, Marta's most important thing is that everyone gets to enjoy dance and learn new skills while falling in love with the movement of their own body. Everyone is welcome to Marta's classes to be completely themselves and enjoy the joy of dance!🤍
