COURSE DESCRIPTION
Come learn the basics of Twerk under the guidance of Martta and Jenni! We offer Twerk courses designed for complete beginners. We will practice Twerk fundamentals and basic movements with professional instruction.
You can participate in all three parts or just one.
PART 1 = Focus on technique (also suitable for experienced Twerkers for review and strengthening technique)
PART 2 = More choreography, but still technique!
PART 3 = Twerk beginner course 3 weeks choreography focus
Suitable for beginners without prior dance experience as well as for those with dance experience for whom Twerk is a new style – and also for more experienced Twerkers to review and strengthen their skills!
During this intensive course package, a strong technical foundation for twerking will be built. You will learn the most important basic techniques – such as hip isolations, bounce, and booty pop – and strengthen body control. The class is physically demanding but easily approachable.

During this intensive 4-week course, a strong technical foundation for twerking will be built. You will learn the most important basic techniques – such as hip isolations, bounce, and booty pop – and strengthen body control. The class is physically demanding but easily approachable. Also perfectly suited for those attending Sensual Twerk classes and wanting to develop their technique.

🗓️ PART 2: DATE TO BE CONFIRMED
Continue where you left off or come strengthen your twerk skills! In Part 2, the basics will be refined further. We'll review what was learned in Part 1 and also learn new things! The class is suitable for everyone, regardless of their level. Let's build confidence and style together!
🗓️ PART 3: 29.11.- 13.12. (3 weeks) | 12-1 PM | Martta
Part three is still suitable for first-timers, but in this course, learning techniques will be almost entirely omitted, and we will focus entirely on a beginner-level choreography for the entire three-week course. Let's have fun and dance!

Lesson descriptions
DANCE CLASS LEVELS
You can attend classes of any level, with the exception of Twerk, where it's advisable to progress step-by-step, starting from the basics, due to the technicality of the style. Dance class levels help instructors design appropriately challenging classes, and clients can assess the difficulty of a class based on its level. If you wish to challenge yourself, you are welcome to try more challenging classes. We always aim to provide an opportunity to change levels if the chosen level is too easy or too difficult.
AVOIN TASO / OPEN LEVEL / CHOREO:
This class is not tied to a specific level classification; instead, the content and difficulty vary according to the instructor, theme, and choreography. The class is suitable for dancers who already have some experience with dance classes, but an open-level class is not a beginner's class. Among general levels, these classes best correspond to an intermediate level (intermediate-advanced beginner). An open-level class often strongly reflects the instructor's personal style.
ALKEET / ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS:
This course is designed for complete beginners. The class teaches the basics at a calm pace – no prior dance experience is required.
ALKEISJATKO / INTERMEDIATE BEGINNERS:
This level is suitable if you have already familiarized yourself with the style at a beginner level. In this class, previously learned skills are deepened, and more technique is taught. If you have any dance background, you can attend intermediate beginner classes regardless of the style (with the exception of Twerk, where you should have completed either a beginner's course or, for example, an online basic course).
JATKO (INTERMEDIATE):
This class is suitable for you if you already have experience in the specific style (or a similar one) (e.g., 1–2 seasons). The class often involves more challenging movements and choreographies.
INT./ADV. (INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED)
This can also be referred to as a challenging open-level class. The class level is intermediate-advanced. However, it is often not as challenging as clear advanced-level classes.
EDISTYNEET/ADVANCED:
This level is intended for those who have been practicing the style for a longer time. In this class, the tempo is faster and the choreographies are more demanding – it requires a good basic technique.
