Jasmin Kruus' Sensual Twerk online class is a beginner level choreography program. Choreography is performed as a lesson similar to a dance lesson.

In this course you will learn the basics of sensual Twerk under Jasmin's guidance!

Twerk is an energetic and fast-paced dance form whose roots can be found in Africa. The biggest influences on the sport are the Mapouka danced in the Ivory Coast, and the bounce culture born in New Orleans. The movement language characteristic of twerk is the various blows of the hips, rotations and movements of the buttocks. Like many other dance forms, twerk is an ever-evolving and merging form. In the sensual twerk course, we dance to calmer music , and we take influences from the sensual movement language of heels dance.

How is the course progressing?

In this particular Wonder Online Twerk course, you get to dance slow-paced choreography. After the initial warm-up, we practice the necessary twerk techniques, after which we jump into the choreography. You will learn a calm, sensual choreography, and you will get to enjoy the movement to the rhythm of the music.

If you want an extra challenge, you can also dance this with heels.

The course is suitable for beginners.

PRESENTATION OF THE COACH

JASMINE MUG

Jasmin is a cheerful and energetic teacher whose style combines influences from several different dance genres. Over the years, Jasmin has gathered lessons and experience in different dance styles, from ballet to hip-hop.

At the moment, twerk, reggaeton, commercial and heels are closest to my heart.

In dance, it is important for Jasmin to be able to enjoy movement, music and performance, but she also emphasizes the importance of practicing technique and fundamentals in her classes. Jasmin wants to complement the rhythms of music with dance , and you can hear her trying to sing choreo songs and imitating the sounds of musical instruments in class instead of counting .

Jasmin's wish is that she would be able to share the joy of dance with her students, a safe environment to be herself, develop her own skills, and express herself.

In addition to teaching, Jasmin coaches her own competition group, and you can see her on stage with her group, or as a Tinze dancer.
