Join the adult Commercial Intensive group at WONDER Club, where we train with a goal-oriented mindset in a closed group.
The Commercial Intensive group offers a six-week intensive dance session where you can develop your own dance technique, work on choreography, and challenge yourself as a performer.
The group will be taught by Robyn Vuorela.
Schedule:
Commercial Beginner Intensive at 17:30-19:00 and Commercial Beginner-Intermediate Intensive at 19:15-20:45 at WONDER Club Olympia.

Six-week intensive period
Over the six weeks, we will train with a goal-oriented approach and delve into, among other things:

developing dance technique

learning and working on choreography

performing and stage presence
-
developing your own artistry as a dancer

performing the finished choreography at the Wonder autumn season finale

video recording during the final practice session
Additionally, guest teacher Akim Baktaoui will teach one of the sessions, focusing on Hip Hop.
Levels:
Beginner is intended for dancers with little to no previous dance experience!
Beginner-Intermediate is intended for dancers who already have previous dance experience and the ability to pick up choreography.
More than just a regular weekly class
In the intensive group, you get the opportunity to focus on dancing and your own development over a longer period than a regular weekly class.
In the intensive group:

This is an opportunity to challenge yourself, develop your dance artistry, and see what you are capable of when you give yourself the time to practice and grow!

Applying to the group
The group is selected based on applications to ensure we form a motivated group committed to training together.
Applications are open 7.-28.10.
All applicants will be contacted by Monday, November 2nd via email.
The application consists of two parts
1. A short introduction of yourself
Tell us about yourself, your dance background, previous dance experience, and why you want to join the Commercial Intensive group.
2. Dance video
Send a link to a dance video with a maximum duration of 1 minute. The video does not need to be professionally produced, as we just want to see you dance!
Instructions for sending the video:
- You need a video of about 1 minute where you are clearly visible and your dancing can be seen.
- The video can consist of one clip, or you can edit together a max 1-minute dance video from several shorter clips.
- You can send a video where you are performing your own or someone else's choreography, or freestyling.
- In the video, you can dance, for example, Commercial or another dance style.
- The dance video can be filmed in your living room, on the street, or in a dance studio.
- Note! If you send a video where other dancers are visible (e.g., from a dance class), please ensure you are clearly distinguishable.
- Include a link with the application that allows the video to be viewed for 7 days after the application deadline. You can send, for example, a link to a hidden YouTube or Vimeo video, a link to an Instagram video, or a Google Drive/Dropbox link. Note! If you use WeTransfer, the video must remain viewable for 7 days after the application deadline.
